Privacy Notice

Last updated 30 October 2026.

This notice covers the MtGram Connect app for iPhone, iPad and Mac, published by Gramtools Ltd (“we”). Information collected through the website gramtools.ltd is described in our website privacy notice.

Who we are

Gramtools Ltd is a private limited company registered in England and Wales, company number 17552057. Registered office: 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. Email: [email protected]

What the app is

MtGram Connect is a tool for working with proxy servers. It does not provide servers or keys. You add a key issued by a third-party provider, and the app connects to the servers listed in that key.

What we collect

We do not collect any personal information through the app. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no third-party software development kits. The app does not use your location or contacts. We do not receive your traffic, and we do not log or inspect it.

What stays on your device

The app stores the addresses of your keys, the list of servers they contain, your chosen server and your settings. It also stores a random device identifier in the iOS Keychain. This information stays on your device. Deleting the app removes it, although iOS may keep the Keychain item.

What the app sends to your key provider

When you add or refresh a key, the app requests the key address, which belongs to your provider, and sends that provider the random device identifier, the operating system name and version, and the device model. The provider uses these to count how many devices use your key. This information goes to your provider, not to us. How your provider handles it is described in the provider’s own notice.

Your traffic

While connected, your traffic is sent to the proxy server named in your key. The server is run by your provider and is covered by the provider’s notice. We do not operate that server.

Camera

The camera is used only if you choose to scan a QR code containing a key. Images are processed on the device and are not stored or sent.

Children

The app is not directed at children.

Your rights

Because we do not hold personal information from the app, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete. For information held by your provider, contact the provider. If you are in the UK you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office: ico.org.uk

Changes

If the way the app handles information changes, we will update this page. The date at the top is the current version.
