This notice explains how Gramtools Ltd (“we”) handles personal information when you use gramtools.ltd. It covers this website and messages you send us. If we publish a mobile application that collects information, that application will have its own notice.
Who we are
Gramtools Ltd is a private limited company registered in England and Wales, company number 17552057. Registered office: 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. Email: [email protected]
What we collect
If you contact us through the form or by email, we collect your name, email address, and the message you send. When you use the form, we also store the date, the time, and your IP address. We use the IP address to limit abuse of the form.
We do not use advertising trackers. The public site does not set cookies. Your language choice is stored in your browser’s local storage, on your device.
The admin area, used only by us, sets a session cookie so that a signed-in session can stay open. That area is not for site visitors.
Website statistics
We count visits to understand which pages are useful. For each visit we store the page address, the website that sent the visitor (host name only), the country, the browser, the operating system, the device type, the browser language and the language of the page. We do not store your IP address for statistics, and we do not use cookies, advertising trackers or fingerprinting.
To count unique visitors we use a one-way code made from your IP address and browser details together with a secret that changes every day. It cannot be reversed, it cannot be linked from one day to the next, and it is deleted after the day ends. Statistics are kept for up to 14 months.
If you are in the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, statistics are collected only after you press “Accept” in the notice on the site. You can change your mind at any time with the “Statistics settings” link at the bottom of every page. Elsewhere we rely on our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used.
The country is derived from your IP address using the IP to Country Lite database by DB-IP.com, licensed under CC BY 4.0.
How we use it
We use contact details to read and reply to your message, and to keep a record of the conversation. We use the date and the IP address to protect the form from misuse.
Legal bases
We rely on legitimate interests: responding to people who write to us, and keeping the website secure. Where your message is about something you want from us, we also rely on steps taken at your request before a contract.
How long we keep it
We keep contact messages for up to 24 months, then delete them. We delete them sooner if you ask, unless we need to keep a record for a legal reason.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information. Messages are stored on the server that hosts this website. We do not pass contact details to advertisers or data brokers.
Your rights
If you are in the UK, you can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, delete it, or restrict how we use it, and you can object to our use of it. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office: ico.org.uk
Changes
If the way we handle information changes, we will update this page. The date at the top is the current version.
